Available for fifth and sixth grade students, Battle of the Books (BOB) challenges students to read, remember, and respond to questions about several different genres of books. Students receive their reading list at the beginning of the school year and then practice after school beginning early in the second semester. Students compete with schools from around the diocese. Battle of the Books List 2026-2027

Religion Bowl functions very similarly to Scholar’s Bowl only the questions stem from Church History, sacraments, Scripture, Creed, and many more aspects of our Catholic faith. Grades 5-6 compete on one team, and grades 7-8 compete on another team. Practices are held after school beginning in the fall with competitions usually ending by February. 8th Grade took 1st place at their Religion Bowl Meet on January 30th

7th Grade took two teams to the meet and one of those teams placed 2nd!

The focus of the Crusader Robotics Team is STEM-science, technology, engineering, and math. Students work together to imagine, create, problem solve, and demonstrate their ideas. Students from grades 6-8 are invited to investigate how fun robotics can be. Practices are held after school beginning late in the first semester. Saturday construction days and practices are held as competition time approaches. Challenge Day is held on the Wichita State University campus in early March.
